I am currently undertaking the Delta Society Australia Certificate IV Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Instructor Course.

I teach at 2 good size venues: Chelsea Heights Scout Hall, Chelsea Heights and Edithvale Scout Hall, Aspendale/ Edithvale

Many vet clinics run puppy classes but not all people who run it have proper dog behavioural training. I had many customers telling me that their dogs did puppy school at the local vet and that the only thing they did was to run around with other dogs and they haven’t learnt a thing.

Some of these classes have up to 10 dogs, that’s too many and
the places are too small and confined to fit all puppies comfortably.
On the other hand some dog owners try to train the puppies themselves but they really don’t know how and get stuck in many issues as puppy toilet training, digging holes in backyard, jumping on people, etc.
 

DOG OBEDIENCE CLASSES - Basic - Level 1
(Juvenile/ Adult dogs)

For dogs over 12 weeks of age

• Dogs that did puppy school
• Dogs that missed puppy school and are new to training
• Dogs that know a bit of obedience but need to improve behaviour

I have been running Pet Pals as a dog walking and pet sitting service for the last 6 ½ years full time.

I have had a lot of exposure on a daily basis through my work on how dogs meet, interact with people and other dogs, important issues re. their training, health and client guidance on responsible pet dog ownership.
