PET PALS started operating since July 2001 as a Pet Sitting
and
Dog Walking service.
Adriana Milne – business owner/ manager comes from a family that was
heavily involved in dog breeding and showing for over a decade in her
native Brazil. Navarra – business – produced top cocker spaniel show
dogs that just kept winning. Adriana used to help her uncle – the
breeder and Kennel Club judge.
‘That was when a little seed was planted in my heart without me
knowing then that quite a few years down the track my passion for
animals would become so overwhelmingly strong that it’d change the
course of my entire life’.
Adriana has had extensive animal and horse handling experience over
many years and has also had work experience volunteering at animal
shelters, horse hospital and later on working at a dog grooming saloon.
After being introduced to the Delta Society positive reinforcement
methods through a course I did through Caspa I enjoyed it so much that I
decided to learn more about it.
As a dog walker I started using and applying what I’d learnt with my
regular dog walking customers and I could see how effective the Delta
methods really were and that they did work. On top of that the dogs were
enjoying themselves and their behaviour were improving considerably. It
was like they were saying: ‘Give me more…’
So I enrolled in the Delta Society Australia Dog Trainer’s course – that
I’m currently undertaking.
Adriana brings her background of Hospitality Management into Pet Pals
and all her exposure to the top 5 star and deluxe hotels’ customer
service - where she worked for over 15 years. So Pet Pals is a 5 star
pet service with outstanding levels of customer service and a strong
commitment to customer satisfaction.
All the pet dogs have a genuine warm, caring & knowledgeable handler
to look after them & to help them getting fit & well trained.
